Write to your MP
It is really important that MPs hear the views of their constituents so that they can represent you. We urge you to contact your MP with your thoughts and concerns on the SEND Reforms. Explain to your MP why the legal rights of children and young people with SEND need to be protected and what it means to you.
Letter Templates
We have produced some template letters to make it easier for you to write to your MP. You can use the letter as a starting point and amend it to include your experiences and views. We have separate templates depending on the type of placement/provision – Mainstream School, Specialist School or EOTIS (Education Otherwise than in School) – as well as a general opposition to the reforms letter. Contacting your MP
You can find out here who your MP is – enter your postcode in the box and press Search. You will then be able to click on the MP and see their contact details which includes their email address.
