SOS!SEN runs regular hands on training sessions to help parents on topics such as how to appeal an EHC Plan or how to prepare for a Tribunal hearing.
Donations: We are an independent charity and rely on donations through our workshops, 1:1 meetings, fundraising events, and our charity shops in Hampton Hill and Worcester Park . This allows us to give you impartial and legally based advice.
All of our workshops are at our office opposite Hampton Court train station. Address: Fontenay, 11a Creek Road, East Molesey, Surrey. KT8 9BE

EHC plan at 16+ and 18+ and the rights of the young person
led by Eleanor Wright - SOS!SEN coordinator and Solicitor
Time: 9:30/10:00am to 1.30pm
Donation: £55 per person - includes useful documentation
This workshop is for parents/carers or young people aged 16+/18+ who are likely to transfer to an Education, Health, Care plan or people who are beginning the process and haven’t had a statement before. It will cover the process, choosing the right placement, and information on appealing.
We offer to run Workshops for organisations and special interest groups, who would benefit from hearing about what we do and what help we are able to provide.
We could come to one of your regular meetings or one of your events and would tailor it to your needs.
Eleanor Wright, our coordinator and solicitor has been to a number of events this year as a guest speaker and has given training to parents, school staff and interested groups on the new EHC plan system based on legal facts and parental rights.
Contact our admininistration team, if you would like to explore the possibility on firstname.lastname@example.org Whilst we would not seek to charge for this, we would normally expect a donation to reflect the time and effort involved, travel expenses and ask the venue to photocopy documents to use at the session.
